0-6-0 Brass Engine Makes Railroad Debut March 8, 2008

I have finally broke down and purchased my first brass 0-6-0 engine. It is a AT&SF Santa Fe 2100 Class. It doesn’t really fit my Canadian flavor but the price was right. My intent one day is to weather it up as older leased power to my railroad. It runs pretty good out of the box as most can motor engines do, but once I spend a few hours lubing it and removing any burs on the gears it will run perfectly. Here she is sitting in Gainesville after a quick splash of water awaiting clearance from a eastbound passenger.

Congratulations for you blog.
Thanks for your comment.
Happy Railroading
