Finally I hope to get back to railroading soon as now all my previous business engagements are completed.  I attended CES 2008 in Las Vegas this past week and all I can say is what a show and what a city.  50,000+ booths and 2 million square feet of floor space.  Lots to see and do and almost too much to possible take in within a 4 day window.  Here are a few pictures I took for you to try and get a sense of the enormity of everything in Las Vegas.

Nothing like having a 150″ Plasma in your house.

New York New York is where I stayed.  Only $300US a night.  What a deal.  The free drinks while gambling helped to justify the cost..  HAHA…

I great view from the room 15 stories up.  That MGM sign is 30 stories tall itself.  Crazy!!

Neat shot of the monorail coming into the station with the Hilton and Stratosphere in the background.

Oceans 11 anyone.  The Bellagio is a sight to see.

I hope to get started back on some cleaning and than continue on with the layout.  I will post images shortly and update you on my projects.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately as my work tends to take over my life this time of year.  I am in the photographic services and supplies retail business.  I own a frachise store with a large floor plan and have the most services offered in our company.  Not to mention I oversee the companies websites and production of some services across Canada for our buying group.  We carry a large array of digital cameras, DSLR cameras, video cameras, telescopes, home theater equipment as well as provide custom framing, poster printing, novelty items(mugs, puzzles, mouse pads, etc..) and a full service 1 hour lab with seven digital kiosks and a tone of frames, albums and scrapbooking supplies.  Long hours but necessary to fund the railroad and of course other toys.  Here are a few images of my store to entertain you until January when I will be back at the railroad.

Thanks for reading this past year and I hope you, your family and friends have a safe and happy holiday and a happy new year!

Daryl
